La Leche – Friendly breastfeeding support from pregnancy onwards
Drop in first Friday of the month, 10am onwards
A welcoming and informative environment to discuss all things mothering and breastfeeding. Expectant mothers, beautiful newborns, tumbling toddlers, chatty pre-schoolers, older siblings (anything and everything)
Over 50’s
Every Wednesday afternoon (for the past forty years), we have welcomed ladies and gents over the age of 50. They play bingo and have a cup of tea, a cake and a chat. Every few months we have a meal out and every year the young people organise a Christmas Party with Christmas lunch and entertainment.
We are keen to expand our group and are looking for new members. We have two minibuses, although they do not have wheelchair access, and are able to provide a door to door service. Contact us for more information
Over 50’s keep fit
A beginners, low-impact keep fit class that’ll help keep the bend in your backbone. If you’re interested in developing your fitness, or you just fancy having a bit of fun with like-minded people this class is for you. Check out the club programme here for more information.
Play & Stay
A group for young parents and guardians, their children and siblings to catch up with a cuppa whilst the kids play. An opportunity to get support from like-minded people, people in the sam situation and support agencies. For more information take a look on the Club Programme page here
