• Kitchen – Newly renovated. Fully equipped with a six ring gas hob and large two shelf gas oven, microwave, grills and toasters, full-size fridge, large freezer, dishwasher, double sink and draining area. Utensils, pots, pans and baking trays provided, along with crockery and cutlery.
  
• Dining room – Movable tables and chairs to allow different layouts for dining, with enough seating for 30 people around 6 tables. Tiled floor to allow for easy cleaning following meals and adjacent to the kitchen for ease of serving.
• Lounge – A perfect room for relaxing with comfortable sofas, armchairs and a gas fire to make the room extra toasty. A stack of comfortable chairs are provided to allow the space to be used for conferences, meetings or training. The view of the centre’s orchard from the large picture window is stunning.
  
• Bunkhouse bedrooms – Each bunkhouse bedroom has purpose-built timber bunk beds, each supplied with its own pillow and mattress. The larger bunkhouse sleeps 12 and the smaller sleeps 10 people. There are also washrooms in each room with a toilet and basin. As there are two separate rooms, it makes splitting sleeping arrangements by gender relatively simple.
  
• Staff/additional bunkhouses – There are two neatly furnished leaders’ rooms to allow separate sleeping arrangements for group leaders or teachers. Each room sleeps four comfortably, has rails for hanging clothes and plug sockets. As both leaders’ rooms are situated on the ground floor, they are easily accessible for disabled guests. Both rooms have en-suite wetrooms with toilet, basin and walk-in shower.
  
• Outdoor showers – Three outdoor showers are located just opposite the main building and are separated into three lockable cubicles. The showers are connected to the main house by a covered walkway and are individually centrally heated and have non-slip mats in each cubicle.
• Orchard – Two acres worth of orchard are available to use by guests of Ty Carreg. The orchard provides a great space for outdoor education and environmental study. The local wildlife is exceptional, with many birds of prey often being spotted in the area. The unpolluted skies around the residential centre offer a spectacular view of the night sky for astronomy.
• Sports Hall – The large sports hall is a superb place for group activities, team building or sporting activities. There are painted goal markings and basketball hoops and is a useful space for activities during spells of wet weather.
• Chunk’s chill out barn – A quiet activity space with pool tables, dart board, table football and bar-style seating. The room is heated using overhead halogen heaters so it’s suitable for all year around.
• Decking area – A gorgeous outdoor space overlooking stunning views of the orchard and mountains beyond. With benches and tables (maybe slippy when wet), there is a large section of the decking which lends itself to being used for small group activities. There is also a brick built BBQ available, please supply your own coals.
