Devon adventures await

It was ships-ahoy as over 40 Stonehouse Gang members visited Devon this summer on the club’s annual holiday trip.

With a mix of adventure and ice-cream in mind, the Stonehouse Gang set sail (well, drove down the M5) for Brixham in Devon this summer for 7 days that many of our members will never forget!

Staying over in the harbor-based adventure centre our members got the opportunity to take part in a number of activities that tested not only their sense of adventure, but also whether they had nerves of steel.  Kayaking, coast-steering and high wire walking were all on the menu, along with more tame pastimes like a boat trip to Torquay, a theme park day out and nightly games and activities.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the week, that went in a flash! And thanks must go to all the volunteers that took a week out of their diary to accompany us to Brixham – we couldn’t do it without you.
