It’s the summer fete and you’re invited!

Roll up! Roll up! It’s the Stonehouse Gangs’ summer fete and this year is set to be record-breaking one as The Gang gets on the bounce to break an official Guinness World Record to celebrate the club’s 80th anniversary. But we need your help!

The summer fete will be held on Saturday 21st July, 1pm to 4pm at the clubhouse on Burnel Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham. With stalls, entertainment, competitions, cakes and a tasty summer BBQ we’d love you to pop in to show us support.

And if you’ve ever fancied being involved in a Guinness World Record, now is your opportunity! We desperately need independent witnesses to come and observe our challenge to bounce continuously on a bouncy castle for 50 hours.

The challenge aims to beat the previous record of 48 hours and it will run from Friday 20th July to Sunday 22nd July. So if you can spare just a couple of hours to simply watch the people bounce and gee them up from time-to-time we would be extremely grateful. The club will be open throughout the challenge so you can have a cuppa, find out more about what happens at The Gang and make new friends.  Please get in touch by:

  • Calling us on: 0121 427 2961
  • Emailing us at: stonehouse.gang@virgin.net
  • Or pop in to see us at: 90-92 Burnel Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham B29 5SN

See you there.

My husband and I first met at the stone house gang in 1964 , when very young 14 and 15 , we married in 1970 . We live in Dorset now and would really love to know if you ever hold a reunion evening. Harry web was the founder and leader then. Jenny & Graham Tooker .
